Latte Da
About This Spot
Step inside Latte Da, and you’re welcomed by a space that feels like a gentle pause in the heart of Tarporley. There’s an inviting warmth here that lingers in the air—part tea house, part charming neighborhood café, with soft conversations and the comforting scent of freshly baked scones weaving through the room. It’s a place where time slows just enough to savor each moment, whether you’re settling in with a comforting cup of English Breakfast tea or gathering with friends over a shared afternoon treat.
The atmosphere unfolds with a relaxed, welcoming rhythm. Friendly smiles from the staff add a personal touch that makes you feel more like a guest in someone’s home than a visitor. The pace is unhurried, giving space to enjoy not only the food but also the calm around you—whether that's quietly watching the world outside High Street or catching up with loved ones over an espresso or a delicate cream tea.
Latte Da’s menu feels rooted in thoughtful, home-style comfort, where each bite is clearly made with care. The freshly toasted crumpets and the warmth of homemade cakes provide moments of simple pleasure, while more substantial choices like perfectly crafted breakfast sandwiches or a classic full English speak to a celebration of honest, well-loved flavors. Even the little details, like the texture of the bread or the richness of the Coronation chicken filling, stand out — all part of what turns a meal here into a quietly memorable experience.
Beyond its café charm, Latte Da also surprises with a curated selection of gifts and home goods, infusing the space with a sense of discovery each time you visit. It’s the sort of place where familiar comforts meet new finds, inviting you to linger, explore, and perhaps leave with a small treasure in hand.
Whether you’re popping in for a morning coffee, sharing a leisurely afternoon tea, or browsing thoughtfully chosen keepsakes, the heart of Latte Da is its warm welcome and sincere attention to those who walk through the door. In Tarporley, it stands as a gentle reminder of the simple joys found in good food, kind people, and moments worth savoring.

The trip here made our day. Nothing was too much trouble; the ladies loved their smoked Salmon Salad, and my Coronation chicken was the best I had ever tasted. The most delicious bread and the chicken filling was absolute perfection.

I visited here yesterday (31st December), with my sister. We arrived to a warm reception from both members of staff which was lovely. We had a delicious breakfast sandwich each, that was cooked to perfection. Thank you for a great experience.

Lovely cafe! Food is very tasty, and the service was excellent. Friendly people! They even recommended several nearby attractions for kids and families. We came back another day and the staff remembered my son's name. The people in Tarporley are so friendly!

My sister and I had afternoon tea on a Tuesday afternoon. It was lovely and quiet, the homemade scones were lovely and fluffy. The cranberry and orange one was the best scone I’ve ever had. Lovely sandwiches on lovely bread! Fabulous service, so friendly and welcoming. Would definitely return!
